If Adventure Comes Your Way

'If Adventure Comes Your Way' is my second 'choose your own adventure' serial blog story that I have done so far. My first -- Dusty Red -- was wrapped up at twenty-six installments (Click here to read them all if you haven't already) (although I would state that the story isn't the best) and this story finished with a higher word count but only twenty-four parts. 
New characters, new villain, new plot, and most of all a New Adventure!

The plan is simple, I write at least one thousand words to start off with and end with three options. All you have to do is comment on the post and tell me which is your favourite. The next week I write the option that gets the most votes. Easy, ain't it? No catch, no nothin', just some nice and fun reading. The more commenters I get, the more interesting it is, so don't hesitate to send a few words down the line!

I begin my tale and a lunatic comes to visit.

I catch the ‘Adventuring Spirit’ and get a glimpse of a deeper Maree.

I meet ‘Sir Creighton’ and several servants fall down the stairs.

I pull Maree’s hair and she violently measures her length on the floor.


I take a bath and Maree takes a second one.


I encounter Sir Creighton for the first time and Ripper earns her name.


I jump out a window and Maree gets a new jacket.


I lose a companion and Hacaz gets half his prize.


I escape my governess and cross a lake.


I am rescued by a giant man and my heart freezes once or twice.


I permanently lose and then regain a companion.


I finally begin to discover the truth.


Maree plays real life Soldiers and Runaways.


Maree loses the last of her family and gains a lot less blood.


Maree finishes her story and we try to make a plan.


I meet Maree’s rescuers and Jack takes us to visit a friend.


I meet a hermit and Jack obtains an injury.


I lead the soldiers on a chase through the town and find a hermit in the markets.


I think of what is expected and do exactly the opposite.


I charge some soldiers and wander through town.


I find an ingenious plan maker, and we hatch an ingenious plan.


I navigate the dark tunnel of Asmodeus


 I visit a madman and a butcher and lose my shoe.


I learn archery and Eumin and Leonora fulfil their mission.
